AI Quota Radar

AI Quota Burn Rate Calculator

Enter your remaining quota, your next reset time and your average usage — or pull in the quota you already tracked — to see whether your Codex quota will last until the reset.

How burn rate is estimated

Your burn rate is the quota you consume per day. The most accurate way to get it is to paste your Codex /status output into the Quota Tracker at least twice — AI Quota Radar computes the quota delta over the time delta between your checks automatically. You can also estimate it manually: if you started the week at 100% and are at 51% after two days, your burn rate is roughly 25% per day.

Worked example

With 23% remaining, a burn rate of 10% per day and a reset in 4d 3h, your estimated quota exhaustion is 2d 7h — before the reset — leaving an expected downtime of about 1d 20h. To make your quota last, you would need to stay under a safe daily budget of roughly 5.6% per day.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a quota burn rate?

Your burn rate is how fast you consume quota, expressed as percentage points per day. If you paste your Codex /status output into the Quota Tracker more than once, AI Quota Radar estimates it automatically from the change between checks — no manual input needed.

How does the calculator estimate quota exhaustion?

It divides your remaining quota by your daily burn rate to get the expected time until your quota hits 0%, then compares that with your next reset time. If exhaustion comes first, the difference is your expected downtime.

What is the Quota Survival Score?

A 0–100 estimate of how likely your remaining quota is to last until the next reset, combining remaining quota, time until reset and burn rate. 85–100 is Safe, 60–84 Watch, 30–59 Risk and 0–29 Critical. Quota Survival Score is an AI Quota Radar estimate and is not an official OpenAI metric.

Is my calculator data uploaded?
